Roxy Rebrand

In 1990 Quiksilver decided to start a women’s line named Roxy. By 1993, the Roxy logo was created, a heart-shaped crest adapted from the recognizable Quiksilver logo. At the end of the '90's, Roxy had become the brand for girls everywhere. According to Roxy the brand has always been about inspiring female athletes to be themselves and to participate and compete in the sports we all love. Their brand identity had become a female version of Quiksilver, using the same crest shape and not having their own unique symbol to represent what they stand for.

My goal was to design a logo that is inspiring to women and reflects on the value of participating in sports we love. I created a unique symbol that focuses on the love and passion girls everywhere have for themselves and their love of sports. The heart shape in the logo is a representation of that love.
